Iron and steel
In my rest, the chambers where I’m calm
It’s voice came to me again, but I thought I moved on
Was it me? Did I speak from the chest in my sleep? For every flutter of the eye I beg to be free
It won’t stop; as if an etch on stone. No matter how much I swear I’ve grown.
Pounding on the door doesn’t help, and I can’t stop feeling the guilt. It’s love was the realest I felt, and the only thing I built
So why did it hide behind a wall? Built of iron with a hatch. And why let me fall, when you never learned to catch?
