In the Ring

When you're in the ring facing a straight faced foe
Who's got eyes that stab while he lands vicious blows
A question is posed, will you stay or go?
Will you forgo what you know to create a fate all your own?

Or will you dance one legged, getting hit to the beat?
The beat of life that is continuous and mean
Will you let each punch roll through you till defeat?
Or will you own up to the fact that you were built to succeed?

This world is yours, be not scared to know it
That this life is short, but you're capable and growing
There's one simple fact and it's silly to ignore it
That behind your fear you're beautiful and glowing
