Lost

Lost in my thoughts, I'm feeling so low
My heart's heavy, and my mind won't slow
I try to escape, but the pain won't go
I'm drowning in sorrow, and I can't glow

The world keeps turning, but I'm standing still
I'm searching for answers, but they won't reveal
My soul is weary, and my heart won't heal
I'm longing for peace, but it won't seal

I need a break, from this endless ache
I need a light, to guide my way
I need a hand, to help me through the fray
I need a love, to make me stay

But for now, I'll just keep on going
I'll keep on fighting, and keep on flowing
I'll find my way, through the darkness growing
And I'll keep on hoping, and keep on glowing.
