Over & Out

Hey Mr. John Doe, do you see me coming around the bend? I did a head count and looks like we’re missing some friends. Hey noble soldier, do you remember me? We did our time back when it meant something to be free.
Do you see me coming round the bend? Maybe we can make some new friends, and then we can start over again… Over & out my friend.
Well there’s my saviour, he’s lying passed out on the floors, boom a headshot, was it worth dying for?
We held our heads up when the world was forcing it down, we looked to the sky, but I don’t know if we wanted to be found.
I hid my lighter as I lit a cigarette, my life grew brighter when I realized I had something left. I wrote a letter to myself if I made it through. I said if I’m living, then I’m living for the blues.
Do you see me coming round the bend? Maybe we can make some new friends, and then we can start over again… Over & out my friend.
