Nothing to Do

I can’t find a book
Nothing around
In the classroom nook
I think I might drown
My boredom is suffocating
Eyes wishing to close
But I can’t sleep in school
And nobody knows
my mind goes blank too often
And makes unnecessary scenarios
Boredom is a coffin
In it, I try to poke holes
I try to free my mind
Break out of this prison
But I’m stuck in time
And no one will listen
The clock moves like a slug
I listen to it tick
I hear people talk
And I hear faucets drip
I’m soon to be lost
Stuck in my mind
What will it cost
For thoughts to be mine
