Hit a Block

My brain has hit a block
Listening to the ticking of the clock
I feel brain dead
There’s nothing in my head
My usual creativity has been drained
No thoughts can be sustained
No full idea obtained
I’m not sure it can be explained
The way I feel so strained
I feel tied back
By my own mind
I need back on track
Instead of falling behind
I’m slowly losing hope
That all will be well
Can’t tell if I'm running out of rope
Or if I already fell

About this poem

I haven't been able to think of anything to write and I'm getting tired of it. So why not make that my new poem?
