Born as a cute infant,
I am beautiful,
Or handsomeness personified,
To the eyes that behold me,
Which are a never ending number.

As days,weeks,months pass,
I realize my seat,
As the center piece of affection,
Could not possibly topple,
The more I show my prowess,
Vocally and physically,
The more are the cheers,
That encompass me.

Years start passing by,
And I realise,
Others have taken,
The center stage,
I need to learn and adapt,
Like the rest to the ways,
Of human society & propriety,
I am no longer an innocent child,
But a growing adult,
Who needs to understand,
The concept of responsibility,
To myself and the unforgiving world.

Gone are the carefree fun days,
Replaced by the modern day,
Realities of education and career,
To be followed by the,
Inevitable rat race for,
Winning bread and butter,
Which is interrupted temporarily,
With the bliss of wedding bells,
And start of a new family,
But the needs are more,
And the dependents even more,
Nothing can halt this juggernaut,
Of constant mental & physical stress,
Till death finally comes knocking,
To mockingly bring to close this journey,
From Everything To Nothing In A Lifetime.
