Analysis of Broken Without You

Something has died inside of me
It's so dark now that I can't see
Everything inside feels broken
Now I know I shouldn't have spoken

These feelings may not be logical
It's like a switch inside, neurological
I can't stop the feeling of pain
I've crashed and burned like a plane

Just like a soldier I keep moving forward
Now I know I can't trust your word
There's absolutely no fixing this
It's just like they say, ignorance is bliss

I know I've made mistakes but they've made me stronger
However what's happening now is nothing short of a slaughter
The walls are officially closing in, can't you see?
There's nothing to do but watch it ruin everything around me
