Analysis of In The Deep, Dark Forest Of Pine
Somewhere in the deep, dark forest of pine
Oh! A cottage so fine
To which a rough rock-strewn path led
A wooden bowl of grain laid for the birds to fed
My stomach growled,
From the smell of freshly baked bread
That came with the wind,
From that old cottage of the dead
Told the story of quite the journey i had, messy hair
And my feet, covered in dirt now not so fair
“It’ll be dark soon, look!”
Whispered my heart and from fear i shook
I wish to wander a little but I can’t i bet
As i have to return to mother, before the sunset
