The Pollution Within

In a city ablaze with lights,
Towering buildings pierce the night,
Expansive roads stretch wide and far,
But hearts remain confined, marred.

Amidst debates on pollution's plight,
It's not factories and cars that blight,
Rather, the darkness within, taking part,
Leaving wounds unhealed, souls torn apart.

In this urban symphony's grand parade,
Compassion's ember can still pervade,
Let love's embrace heal wounds once bared,
Transforming the city, hearts repaired.
