Analysis of Offensive Weapons
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
Whenever I find my comfort zone
That’s when the Lord will move me
He’s always there through thick and thin
To test me and approve me
He puts me in and pulls me out
The furnace will refine me
He heats me up and hammers me
So, he can redesign me
A mighty weapon in his hand
Is what the Lord is forging
I will not be among the slain
On which the birds are gorging
Across this dry and barren place
The wind blows as I’m walking
And anyone who seeks my life
Is consumed while I am talking
Can’t you see the time has come?
My enemies are hiding
Look, he’s coming with the clouds
White horses we are riding
And every eye will see him
Even those who pierced him
