Accept His Yoke

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

These prison walls are closing in.
The wages of my greatest sin.

I can’t find anything not found.
Till all my walls are crashing down!

But when these walls are crashing down,
Your Spirit within me can be found!

Just like the seeds cast in the field;
A harvest they will someday yield!

God won’t take back the words He spoke!
But if you will accept His yoke,

The peace and joy that you will find,
Is really going to blow your mind!
