Sandy

Mathew L. Hunt 1973 (Los Alamitos, CA)

She possesses skin so fair,
Its beauty is beyond compare.
Her hair falls gracefully undone.
It lays glistening in the sun.

Her smile could light a fire
In my heart, passion and desire
That would burn red hot.
This, though I know her not.

So genuine and young is she,
Men swarm to her like bees,
Yet in their haste, miss the honey
For which I am eternally hungry.

I yearn to know her as a woman
In a way no other can,
With a delicate caress or touch
Born of an affection for her love.

I must be gentle as a breeze
To avoid the sting of a bee.
