The rhythmic structure and play on words are effective in not just narrating the story, but also engaging the reader. The line, "fighting the war on drugs by land, sea, and air" does an excellent job highlight the vastness of their responsibility.
  
  The seamless transition between roles, from law enforcement to life-saving endeavors, underscores the versatility and resilience of these brave individuals. The witty twist at the end "ashes to ashes and bust to busts, I think you will finally agree that the seas belong to us" eloquently affirms the Coast Guard's authority in a lively tone.
  
  For improvements, consider incorporating more vivid and descriptive imagery to help illustrate the "exotic places" they travel to. This would supplement readers’ understanding and appreciation of the myriad tasks the Coast Guard undertakes.
