I am a 50 year old married Father of 3 Children. I live in the north of Ireland and grew up in the same Townlands as Seamus Heaney. I found poetry and writing short stories a fantastic way of articulating my feelings and holding onto many happy and indeed sad memories of days gone by. It also gives me a sense of peace being able to tell and pass on stories of my childhood, life experiences and the characters that were involved within it to my sons and daughter so they can understand and hold onto what I believe is as real a piece of my being when I am no longer for this world. To sum it up, I'm Just another soul trying to navigate this life as best I can!
