Woman in my life

Growing up I remember your beautiful long hair
Standing in front of the mirror brushing till it was just right
You didn’t have many shoes or clothes
But whenever you left the house you were very appealing to the sight
Though you were young you looked younger
To you age was truly a number
Though young, you had a great responsibility
To think of it this is what I believe
With grace, strength, focus, and pride
You took every moment in stride
Beautiful woman brave, patient, and smart
You were also loving, caring, and sweeter then a tart
How I was the one God chose to be in your life I do not know
But maybe it was so that I can learn from you I suppose
Some lessons were very hard to follow
And at times thru the struggle many tears I had to swallow
But to change you is like changing a brain
No matter how you think about things would never be the same
That wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t love you
But I do despite all the hard moments we went through
For I am your daughter and will always be
Together forever for eternity

These are but written photos of my life, my mind, and those around me captured as best as I could in words. I'm not a trained writer so my style is of no particular way. I have long detailed poems and short to the point ones. My hope is that you can see what I have seen feel what i felt with out braking your head trying to figure out what I meant. Enjoy! more…
