Vinnie and the crackhead

Vinnie and the crackhead

Was it not beautiful, baby?
They way the smoke curls
It's like poetry
A little fire before it seeps into your head
I used to watch the matches burn
Look at my fingers yellow from the burns
I used to imagine I was magic
Now, I don't sleep
My eyes are wide awake all the time
We got a little more rock
Before we go out to the streets
I swear to you it's the last time
I hate when you are with those guys, but
A little party never hurt no one
We can get out of here, we can go upstate
or to my sisters on the island
She's always beggin' me to see her and the kids
Anything to get me out of Harlem
Don't worry she'll love you, say you from Spain
We clean up a bit and we can take our sh*t
Up out of here go to the shore
Just one more time, baby I swear

We got one more hit for the road
