Paul Edward Harmon

The poets don't know me,
Here at poetry
I'm on the outskirts,
Trying to get in,
To the top ten poets list
But my writings are hit or miss
There from when I was green
From ages sixteen to eighteen
But they opened the door for me
Here at poetry in 2003
When I became a published poet
On the first poem I posted
And then in 2004
I came back for more
I won the editors choice award
With yet another green poem
Which were originally songs
So I cut them down
They were too long
But then I walked away
For such reasons I can't say
Now I sit and think today
That I should go all the way
I'm going to write my way to fame
Take all the bad from yesterday
And make it my uprise for future days
My name is Paul Edward Harmon
And i'm back to finish what I started.
