Armor hides the scar

We vomit the world from stomachs of hate
Devouring gloom from an unholy plate
We keep our scars hidden with an armor of grace
Laughter breeds masks and we call them our face

We associate value with skills in disgust
Founding our culture upon soils unjust
We dignify silence with abnormal cries
And banish all pleasure and hope from our eyes

We march through our minds on blankets of bone
To capture despise and make it our own
We dream curtains of flesh to cover the skies
And sleep in the recess where apathy lies

We witness our murders and brag of the deed
Make passionate love to sorrowful greed
We shallow the storage of fear in our life
Taking hostage the form we worship as strife

We follow the footsteps of beautiful ill
Place dangerous art in the blood that we spill
Overindulge in our cascading drought
The existence of pleasure in true form always doubt
