Freedom-- To Be

Panted for freedom,
as the deer-- for water springs,
deep-cherished freedom,
words fail to convey
none takes away.

Freedom on the wings of love,
unbound, infinite, grand,
it will carry you through
layers of fleshly stagnation--
into a river of new life
where body and mind bathe
to emerge and stand still
before the Divine.
