Matthew 11:28
Rest for the weary,
comfort for the needy
I was and am both,
weary of self, needy for God,
hungry for the crumbs
that fall from above.
I open His Word again,
to give to my blindness sight,
and let it sink into my mind.
Then, I understand
how is His yoke easy
and His burden light.
