Finally seeing

He's opened my eyes to alot of things.. Looking through a different lense. Capturing my emotions on camera..At a stand still I look with a smile..He doesn't let me slide by or get a pass.. He calls me out so that I'm able to recognize the class I took without reading the book. Helping me to understand what I mistook because I didn't take the time to give a second look.. Turning him away by misguided actions I didn't allow myself to see.. Had to take a step back before I'm left to grieve after he leaves.. Can't wonder why if I don't truly look inside and see maybe it is just me if only for a second I think.. Knowing that we're different accepting each other as we are.. Considerate of his feelings and time. Reminding myself he is not mine is good for me. I draw from his intellect and his insight.. Awakening something deep with in.. How could I let go.. Knowing what I know. I remain silent and take it all in.. Ready for a new chapter as the lesson begins .He really is a good friend..
