Silenced

I laid there in silence in the darkness of night with only a distant shadow of the moon light.. wondering when my life would take flight..so many years I did endure not knowing what my life had in store because I never got up to walk through the open door. Vision clouded from all of the shouting I just wanted it to come to an end without death being my best friend..
