Sunset

Sunset in Summer
is filled with exotic wonder.
Looking at it, I feel part
of the celestial beauty far and above.
And the sun lingers,
as in regret- to unwillingly set.
In Fall, hues are dramatic,
blue, yellow, purple and gray
and clouds, surrounding
are blown into translucent array.
Comes Winter-- sunsets are brief,
as if on a ride to a far-off retreat,
but Spring breaks the spell
that Winter will never end.
The sun appears in splendor
with rainbow hues in full span,
and sunset-- again-- blends
the renewal of nature and man.
