Bitter

Bitter
Touch down! He scores
Won the battle again
She can't have nothing to herself.
Not her body and not her family.
Bitter.
The taste, the touch and the feel.
Tears. Dirty rags and broken memories.
They embrace rejoice and break bread with the enemy.
Maybe she should get over it.
Be used to betrayal by now
But the bitterness is warm in her belly.
And the taste of ash on her tongue
Feels flaming hot to the touch,
Careful now and it'll burn ya.
Can't seem to get over
He got up under many times
No asking please just take and take.
Now he's pulled one over
Pulled the rug from under her feet
Laughter and rejoicing, let's eat!
While she sits acast off and starves.
But nah it's cool,
Cold as ice
And a heart made of stone
She'll petrify you if you look too long
Like Medusa a slayer of all she ever knew
By or not by choice, depending on the legend
Alone, isolated, she longs to be vindicated. Yea...she's....
Bitter.
