Within the Silence

With friends and with loved ones we should
Not feel that we must say
Encouragement that sounds real good
Or chit chat for the day.

We do not need to fill the void
When silence is so loud.
Because our words make some annoyed
With spoken words allowed.

No awkward feeling should be there
Despite the lack of speech.
You don't need words to show you care
When to their heart you reach.
