Building Your Faith

When you become a new Christian,
Your seeking is not through.
Because before the day is done,
There's work for you to do.

You must begin to build faith on
The solid, holy ground,
Of Jesus' life before the dawn
Of journeys so profound!

In doing so, you'll be prepared
When life's adversity
Develops though you showed you cared
With Christianity.

If you should fail to follow through
And not seek what God planned,
The house that was built by you
Will fall upon the sand.
