The lighthouse

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

The lighthouse in the night.

When I look into your eyes, I can see a lighthouse that shines and breaks up the darkest of nights. It shows the way the ships must go. Just like your heart, I can hear the echoes. From far away. It tells me that you should stay. So I can find my way. My shadows and darkness always get in my way. But I know, like that lighthouse, I will never lose my way with you by my side. I will love you every day. You can calm the roughest seas and, more importantly, me.
