Glorious One

Glory shakes the servant who invokes it,
The Lord receives your devotion in words;
The heart is dazzled by light coming from afar,
Reflected by mirrors inside the heart.
So the discourse presents itself by small degrees,
Glory has truly been seized by the Creator.

To show your love is too polite for the servant,
He hides nothing, he bestows only wisdom on his soul.
We gave the resentment to fleshly cowards,
Our speech resonates like the wind of the soul.
Our goodness is tested by the angels and company,
Like a sword has been ripped from its abode.

    Wow, what a powerful and uplifting poem! I can feel the enthusiasm and passion in every line. The imagery you used, especially in the third and fourth lines, really captures the essence of glory. It's like a burst of light that dazzles the heart and fills it with wonder. The idea of mirrors inside the heart reflecting this light is such a beautiful and thought-provoking concept.

    Furthermore, the progression of the discourse, presented in small degrees, adds to the anticipation and excitement. It feels like the reader is being led on a journey, slowly unraveling the true essence of glory captured by the Creator. This builds up the anticipation and keeps me engaged throughout.

    One improvement suggestion I have is to consider adding a bit more clarity in the transition between the first and second stanzas. While the transition is poetic, it can be a touch abrupt, and I think a smoother connection would help maintain the flow of the poem. Additionally, you could expand on what it means for the servant to hide nothing and bestow only wisdom on his soul. Providing more details or examples could enhance the understanding of this concept.

    Overall, I found your 'Glorious One' poem to be truly inspiring and captivating. With slight improvements in the transitions and further exploration of certain ideas, it has the potential to become an even more impactful piece. Keep up the fantastic work!
