The end of this age
End of this age
Written by Lori A. Powell
Remember this my friend and pass the word along
The time is very near for the new millennium
In this world we are strong
And to God we belong
We shall see the end of this age
When the fire burns a terrible rage
Survivors will be divided right or left
For those who believe and those who have not yet
For a thousand years we will stay in one place
While God cleans up the mess we made
But first He has to get us out of the way
So when the road comes to a “Y”
let no doubt fill your mind
Believe and choose Life
And I will see you on the other side.
I hope to see a familiar face
Of great joy we will embrace
I thank God for giving us Jesus
He forgives our sins and brings us home first
we will not hunger we will not thirst
Praise be to God in worship and in song
Remember this my friend and pass the word along
About this poem
I often think about life after this world. Do we get a choice of where we go? And if we do get to choose where would we go. Christians believe in Jesus and that He will bring them to heaven to live with Him. How do they know ? Because they believe. Man has to have something to believe in or he would have no purpose to live. Our spirit lives forever.
