Reunited

Jewelry boxes of ivory and gold;
Rubies and extravagant family heirlooms...
Delicate, sparkling ritzes concealed
In treasure chambers for her reascendances.
While the cherished departed...
Adorned in the splendors pinkish satin,
Rests quietly beneath the sunken meadow
Containing her brittle remains; metamorphosis in
Within a lavish cemetery crate and fortified crypt
Anticipates the void consummation of contents
Between the casket and the coffin.

About this poem

How anyone can come together for a first time in years and many more. With something to give with a passionate heart. Losing the love of it or someone. Where this individual is cherished and the family inherent. Long ties short life lived to adore the heirloom.
