I'm being unwritten

and rewritten

all at once.

My margins are being

scratched away

for a smooth surface

and my words are being rearranged

into someone else's.

My lines of data

are being typed over with

bold little letters and numbers

in a new sequence.

I wonder what they say,

because my lips are mouthing

the discarded script

and it's garbled and echoing

underwater in the heavy gray.

I am null,

indescribable with no binary

and no operating system.

I am system 32

and your computer

has died.
