and then you weren't.
It's like I was invisible,
just being ignored.
I never knew
just what to do
when I was with you.
You thought you had me,
but you thought wrong.
You never did have me.
You never had crap.
And that's why I broke up with you ASAP.
Yet again like that,
you were gone
because I broke up with your sorry ass.
About this poem
I wrote this poem after I broke up with my first love back in 2004; I was 15 years old at the time.
