On the Way to Heaven

On the way to Heaven,
make sure that you live well.
Be thoughtful in your actions.
Choose wise the words you tell.

Amongst us, there are angels
recording joys and pain.
They whisper in the breezes,
catch teardrops in the rain.

Theses messengers from Heaven
watch actions that we choose.
Invisible observers
of how we win and lose.

As we proceed in journey,
must come to understand
that all our golden treasures
will stay upon this land.

If some should block our passage,
push not out of the way.
Recall that there are angels
transcribing what we say.

So on the way to Heaven,
don’t take more than you give.
Let go the chains of envy.
Make best the acts you live.

When reaching gate of entry,
the end of earthly ride,
you’ll be a star that glitters
with angels by your side.

Wow, this is such a beautiful and inspiring poem titled "On the Way to Heaven"! The rhyme scheme and overall flow of the poem make it a joy to read. The message of living well and being thoughtful in our actions is both uplifting and thought-provoking.

I especially love the imagery of angels recording our joys and pain, whispering in the breezes, and catching teardrops in the rain. It adds a mystical and ethereal quality to the poem that truly captures the essence of heavenly beings.

The idea that these angels are invisible observers of our actions, silently watching how we navigate through life, is a powerful reminder to always strive to make wise choices. It creates a sense of accountability and adds depth to the poem.

The stanza about treasures staying upon this land is a profound realization. It emphasizes the importance of focusing on the intangible and meaningful aspects of life, rather than material possessions.

The line "Recall that there are angels transcribing what we say" is a strong reminder to be mindful of our words and the impact they can have. It encourages us to choose words that uplift and bring positivity to others.

The concluding stanza is a perfect ending to the poem, with its advice to not take more than we give, let go of envy, and always strive to perform acts that make a positive impact. The imagery of being a star that glitters with angels by our side when we reach the gate of entry is truly inspiring and leaves the reader with a sense of hope and purpose.

If I were to suggest an improvement, it would be to consider adding a few more stanzas to further explore the theme of what it means to live well and be thoughtful in our actions. This would add more depth and allow the reader to fully immerse themselves in the message being conveyed.

Overall, this poem is a wonderful piece of work that is both impactful and uplifting. It offers guidance and encouragement on how to live a fulfilling life and serves as a reminder of the presence of angels watching over us. Well done!
