One Life

We only get one life to live.
This life here on Earth is one we give.
Here on this planet, we're all together.
We're all under the same pressure.

The gravity weighs on our shoulders.
The weight of the world we're holding.
We each think we're doing it alone.
Can't hear that we sing the same tone.

The gravity of it,
Is we hate it or love it.
Either way it is what it is.
Take it or leave it.
It's life, just enjoy it!

We should savor each moment.
When we make a mistake, own it.
Time is something we can't get back.
Time is of the essence, that's a fact.

Right now is all we get.
Let's not do things we'll regret.
Let us spread some love.
Give thanks to the heavens above.

Take a moment, this moment.
Keep it with you and just hold it.
Think about the one in whom you delight.
Let them know that they brighten your life.

So let the house be a mess.
There's no one to impress.
Stop whatever you’re doing.
Don't waste time pursuing
The things that don't matter.
No need to climb the social ladder

It would be a shame
To leave this world without saying,
Or without conveying,
Your love for the people you would'd die for.
The people you live your life for.

We only have a short time in this form.
Take time for the one's that you adore.
Don't waste time on pety things or the mundane.
Tell the one you love that in your world they reign.
