Social Conformity

Why do I like ten thousands of people
It makes my life so difficult
Why does the world say I can only like one person
Why do I have to choose

Why do I like boys and girls equally
It makes my life impossible
Why does the world say I can't like my own gender
Why don't I have the option to choose

Why are major relationships sexual
It makes my life much harder
Why does the world say I have to procreate
Why can't I just abstain

Why am I stuck being a polyamorous asexual bi-romantic,
in a monogamist, sexual, hetero world.
Why am I stuck being different
When outcasts are out cast and differents are disowned

Why is my brain so beyond fucked up
It makes my life unlivable
“Life isn't easy just keep on pushing”
But sometimes I can't keep on pushing

I need to keep pushing

The whole world might hate me but, still my friends don’t
I need to keep going even if it’s fraught
I need to not give to shits about what the world has to say
Yet all I want in life is to be accepted
For the world to care
For the world to not be so damn fucked up
For the world to understand

Yet all of my hopes and dreams
Have never been answered
And all of my hopes and dreams
Will never be answered

Why am I stuck being a polyamorous, asexual, bi-romantic, fucked up kid,
In a perfectly normal world.
