wasted potential

ive missed out on what was supposed to be
the best years of my life

my life quickly became full of regrets
i managed to ruin everything i had
while everyone my age was growing up
planning their future
i was stuck
wishing i was dead

i didnt think i would make it this far
so i stopped trying
i stopped doing things i loved
i stopped trying for my future
i destroyed every single chance i had
to make my life worth something
but now i am nothing

i dont know why i am alive
if i have nothing to live for
i'll never truly understand where it all went wrong
