Touch of Sunshine

Within these amber pools I am adrift deep in your soul,
My heart forever lost in the warmth of your glow.
Waves of emotion crashing against my mind,
Like the oceans shores pounded into sublime.

Pure effervescent touches across your skin,
Locked in this moment thoughts churn into sin.
Lips touching into perilous explosions of pure love,
Heavens gates open with angelic voices from above.

I can never part from your warm embrace,
Against my chest you forever found your place.
As the sands of time fall forever slower in your midst,
All other things seem to never exist.

Caressed by angelic wings wrapped around you in slumber,
Endlessly I watch you sleep in this spell that I’m under.
The fragrance of your hair like cherry blossom in springtime,
Forever I am lost as our souls’ touch bursting to beams of sunshine.
