The Child Within

THE CHILD IN ME CRIES OUT~

   with such pain and confusion

I spank her~ send her to bed

   LEAVE ME ALONE~

THE CHILD IN ME CRIES OUT~

  asking for comfort and consoling

Stop~  I have no time for you

   LEAVE ME ALONE~

THE CHILD IN ME CRIES OUT~

  with complete anguish

Go Away~ I am fixing my Life

    LEAVE   ME   ALONE~

THE.  CHILD.  IN.  ME.  CRIES.  OUT~

   I   LISTEN………

About this poem

I wrote this many years ago, when I was integrating oneself to wholeness. I am writing this from memory that I shall never forget.

Suffer the children in us to be comforted. For of such is eternal joy.
