The Journey

Where do I go from here?

Touch the sand~.

Smell the air?


Cannot look back

Only for a moment~

For when I do~ the fear begins to pull me


Look ahead?  The road seems so exciting~

But if I run~ I am afraid I will fall

And hopelessness will catch me


It is safe right here~ I will stay

But only for a moment

I will sit~ and maybe pick a flower
