The Butterfly of the Snow
Margarette Marzan 2004 (Manila)
She dances with grace amidst the chill air,
Its movements were so gentle as if to declare.
Softly landing on a frosty rose,
Her elegance, like magic, ever glows.
Its wings are translucent, with a shimmering hue,
Like glistening diamonds bathed in dew,
Her eyes sparkle like sapphires, deep and blue,
Reflecting the sky's purest and brightest hue.
Her heart—it's warm, like a fire's soft glow,
For within her icy facade, a blazing spirit does flow.
Her beauty enchants as she shimmers and glows,
And mesmerizing spirit that continues to grow.
Her wings were as pure as white,
Glimmering like crystals in the moonlight.
Her presence brings hope in the darkest night,
Reminding us that even in winter, there's light.
