The light within

Margarette Marzan 2004 (Manila)

My heart went boom,
When I saw her in a library room.
The light she brings into the room,
Think of a like flowers that fully bloom.

The room is windless,
And so she is.
It radiates the noise of her fearless,
I will tell you how it is.

The glow of her guiding light,
Its step so firm, its eye so bright.
Her words are full of a rare delight,
With her soul, it's blinding white.

Her light comes from within,
And it's shining on my skin.
Every day is a fresh start to begin,
Just like a warm autumn breeze gliding in.
