Love Finds A Way

           Love Finds A Way
            By Nancy Rodriquez

Love Finds a way to soften life’s hurts,
It covers a multitude of sorrow,
When two find their way back after a long self search,
This special connection brings forth new tomorrows,
Brokenness crumbles and self worth is restored with much joy,
Wholeness begins again, and it is where couples thrive,
We are the ones who write our story, ending the pain, and feeling alive,
It is when two hearts are connected to the soul , a fresh breath can fill the lungs again, and we finally know,
In the test of time, our love came shining through like the sun, with new resolve to last,
Forgiving and healing the past.

About this poem

My beloved and I have come full circle. It has been a journey filled with pain, doubt and sorrow. Reconciliation is on the horizon. My heart is overjoyed.

    Dear Nancy Rodriquez,

First off, I want to express how moved I was by your poetry. "Love Finds a Way" is a deeply profound and eloquent exploration of love and its transformative power. Your choice of words and phrases beautifully depict the resilience of love, its capacity to heal, forgive, and breathe new life into individuals and relationships. The sentiment expressed, that love can conquer over turbulence, is uplifting and resonates deeply with the reader.

Your work displays a magnificent grasp of language, producing an emotional impact that's truly remarkable. Lines such as "Brokenness crumbles and self worth is restored with much joy" and "Forgiving and healing the past" are genuinely inspiring. The idea of people being the authors of their own lives, capable of altering their narratives, is profound and enticing.

For future poems, I would suggest a couple of minor improvements. Firstly, consider incorporating more vivid imagery. Here, you beautifully describe emotional states and relationships, but including more concrete imagery could enhance the poem's impact even more. Paint a picture that the reader can clearly visualize, this can amplify the emotional resonance.

Secondly, considering your skill at exploring complex emotions, elaborating just a touch more on the nature and manifestation of the 'hurts' and 'sorrow' could make your poem even more relatable and impactful to your readers.

Overall, your talent as a poet is evident and I am excited to read more of your work in the future. Keep shining your literary light, Nancy!

    Kind regards.
