WAR

is this who we are now?
mindless little clouds of nothing,
turning into sad shadows?

can we do something about it,
or is it too late?

can we avoid vanishing
on the night of the world?
can we react and
confront the monsters?

do we have to perish
in the face of their power,
lying down restlessly
as the days go by?
