The Unsaid Story

In the realm of hidden hearts, a tale unfolds,
A silent longing, a story seldom told.
He walks amidst a web of love's complex design,
Caught in the threads of the past, where hearts entwine.

She, from his history, lingers in the shadow's grace,
A lingering ember of a past love's face.
Her eyes, like daggers, cast a bitter brew,
For she knows my feelings, and her disdain is true.

He, a bridge between two shores,
Unaware of the emotions my heart explores.
Does he sense the truth but choose not to reveal,
To preserve a bond, a friendship, we both conceal?

In this delicate dance of secrets and lies,
Where emotions run deep, hidden behind our eyes,
I tread with care, for I fear the unknown,
In a story where the seeds of affection are sown.

Yet, through it all, my heart beats its own song,
A melody of hope, though the path is long.
In this intricate tale of friendship's sweet art,
I cherish the moments with a silent longing at heart.
