How I Live Well

How I Live Well

I know not to be unwell
after days of farewell
to ailing.
I learnt not to wake up unwell
and go to bed at night unwell

I make my bed so well
and sleep well.
I relate well with well-wishers
who wish me well
and enemies who wish me unwell

I laugh all
the time with friends and enemies
without a fall foul of my joyful
moments
without any group’s grapple

For a whole
year-round, decades as well;
an uninterrupted bliss lays my bed,
and I sleep well
to wake up, at dawn, well
