I always end up crying
On my birthday -

It always ends up
On a weekday -

It always ends up
That my busiest day
Was the day that I was born -

It always ends up with me
Coming home and wanting
To go to sleep and miss the party -

I always end up crying
In my bed, all alone -

No matter how much people try
On my birthday
