The Nuisance

The animals run wild, the wind gets colder, the crosses stand tall,  and the bodies are bolder.

The hauntings' of visions are not so pleasant to tell. Just to awake and hold those near deeply, and that's what we can tell.

The cell of the mind can act like a prison, sometimes even coming from those that like to control your time.

The nuisance of the bark and those that lie in the dark, like to manipulate the souls of the light trying to get right for what they had lost in the sights.

Shanique L Marshall

I have been writing poems, music, and in the process of writing a book for many years. I learned to incorporate different styles of writing, and combined them into one. Some of my writings will either be about my passion, my everyday festivities, food, to even devices. I find that writing has given me a sense of release with my emotions, or the experiences I have encountered over the years of my life. I hope you can enjoy my work, and maybe find some kind of relation to it, so you can feel what I felt. more…
