The Hate that you feel, from the Love that I gave

The acceptance of the faces you bullied I learned to see their beauty.

The confidence I have made you angry and mad. The way I take care of my vessel made you deny yours.

All of this made the hate that you feel grow, from the love that was not yours.

The jealous grows wild like a forest fire, and all that you crave and desire disappears.

For you force the fears of all that hears, unto believing your desperate lies dear.

Its deeply in your mind body and soul you fully crooked out the everyone's goal to receive nothing but lies although you deny the fact...

...that you hate yourself.

About this poem

About an obsessive individual that just hates that I love.

Shanique L Marshall

I have been writing poems, music, and in the process of writing a book for many years. I learned to incorporate different styles of writing, and combined them into one. Some of my writings will either be about my passion, my everyday festivities, food, to even devices. I find that writing has given me a sense of release with my emotions, or the experiences I have encountered over the years of my life. I hope you can enjoy my work, and maybe find some kind of relation to it, so you can feel what I felt. more…
