HELPING THE others TO FLY

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

There is no heaven, and there is no hell in this world. We fell answering an unknown call wanting more and taking less. Why is your guess as good as mine? All I know is someone sent me here to have my style and say, awhile, why does it seem now more now than ever all the shit they forced me to learn no longer fits, and I'm sick of that.

When I was young, I was always told Hey, you little bastard, you need to bite your tongue because you ruffle their feathers and rattle their cage. They know you, a seeker of truth sent down centuries to rewrite your family history.

They gave you a name without a personality, and when you find yourself, you are to blame. All I say is Oh well, I will not burn in your hell but in mine, for I found my shooting star and faith moving to places that hold no judgment because of faces.

No, I do not know what ancestors surround me, but from all curses, I know that I am free to rewrite the story that, as our hearts have torn for years, I am the savior. Who wipes away those tears?

I was the outcast whose life many thought wouldn't last, but I have many, and I have a, and over the centuries, I grew and today. Our ancestors call me to grant me wings to help others fly.
